Tho it seems to be a pest at first, thankfully it seems to be a pretty easy fix:

1. Boot safe mode w/networking
2. Uncheck proxy in ie if it was changed
3. Download rkill to kill running stuff (was not required on the infected pc I was working on)
4. Download and run malwarebytes (I copied from my usb drive)
5. finished
